Max/Avg Height (ft.): 12, 8

Diameter:

Hardiness: 0° F

USDA Zones: 7-10

This beautiful variegated clone of the world's most northern-growing bamboo is from the Kurile Islands of Japan and Russia's Sakhalin Island. It is best grown in partial shade because the finely white-striped leaves are subject to burning by the sun. Leaves are 10 inches long by 2 inches wide. The new shoots emerge a golden yellow with red-margined culm sheaths - they are absolutely beautiful.
