This form of Japanese timber bamboo has green culms and a bright yellow groove/sulcus, the reverse coloration of Castillon, hence the name. Planted together (as we have done at the Classical Chinese Garden in Portland, Oregon), Castillon Inversa and Castillon make a striking combination.
