We ship very large bamboo!

Specimen Plants, 15 to 40 feet tall: The Bamboo Garden specializes in very large bamboos of several species in 15 gallon through 100 gallon containers, including: Phyllostachys atrovaginata, P. aureosulcata, P. aureosulcata 'Spectabilis', P. bambusoides 'All Gold', P. bambusoides Japanese Timber Bamboo", P. dulcis, P. nigra "Black Bamboo", P. nigra 'Henon', Pseudosasa japonica, P. edulis "Moso", and many others, up to 40 ft. tall.

--Shipping for orders of this size is usually restricted to commercial zones, shipped by commercial freight trucks that have temperature controlled trailers. Contact us for more info and current market rates. We can usually send you very large bamboo, if you need a tall screen or grove immediately. Residential customers will need to coordinate with the truck driver to meet at an open, commercial zone, or assure that the area for delivery can accommodate a 53 foot semi.

Ask about palletizing large quantities of 5 gallon and 10 gallon bamboo.
This particular order is about 30x 5 gallon bamboo that are 5-8 feet tall. Palletizing the whole package usually saves the customer money on shipping large volume orders of over 20x 5 gallon. During the growing season, we regularly ship large orders to wholesale customers on the East Coast, California, Oregon and Washington, Texas, Midwest, and many other states.

Local Deliveries: Members of our staff can deliver orders to locations in or near Portland, Vancouver, western Washington, Salem, Corvallis/Albany, and Eugene. Please contact us for rates. We also do local consultations, installations, and removals. Have an experienced bamboo grower and landscaper visit your site and provide insight to your project. How to Transport Tall Bamboo by yourself  for local pick up and delivery.
 

East of Illinois will be UPS zone 3 = 5-6 business days transit time
Midwest is usually UPS zone 3 = 4-5 business days transit time
Southern states east of Texas are UPS zone 3 = 5-6 business days transit time
West of the Rockies is UPS Zone 1 through 2 = 1-4 business days transit time
California is UPS zone 2 = 2-4 business days transit time
Washington and Oregon is considered UPS zone 1, 1-2 business days transit time

We cannot ship to Hawaii. Wholesale only to Canada.

For customers in UPS Zone 3,  UPS 3 DAY AIR SHIPPING is recommended during the hottest and coldest times of the year. (or wait until the weather turns mild) Contact us for 3 DAY AIR RATES (they are usually just over  twice the cost of UPS GROUND but are guaranteed to reach you in 3 days). Certain bamboos (Fargesia, for example) are sensitive to extreme heat and should be planted in the Spring or Fall. Others (such as Phyllostachys ), love the hot weather and can be shipped by UPS GROUND and planted almost any time, except when the ground is frozen solid. If you live in California or pretty much anywhere in or west of the Rocky Mountains, Midwest, or Central we can send your plants via UPS Ground at any time of the year, barring extreme cold or heat waves.  Please call or e-mail us if you have any other questions.
