Bamboo Garden.

The culm sheaths are covered with hairs--an easy way to identify this
Semiarundinaria from others in the genus.

This bamboo appears to have
potential as a screening plant, with closely growing canes of rather large
diameter. Leaves are large and dark glossy green As the name implies, it
was found in North Korea. The plants at our nursery in containers
suffered no damage when exposed to 10 F with strong wind.
